2024

Suprised my dad with VIP courtside tickets to NCAA Final Four matches and the NCAA All-Star game.

Suprised my family with tickets to the 2024 Olympic opening ceremony along the Seine. That means we saw Aya Nakamura and Celine Dione perform life. Oh, and it rained xD. Forever grateful!

The view from the Eiffel Tower is surreal even when there's inclement weather. You betcha we reserved a table and enjoyed our 5 course meal in the tower's restauraunt too! Paris is truly beautiful!

It rained while I was enjoying Versaille too, but has weather ever stopped me from exploring this world?

Definitely not a materialistic person (things come and go and cannot provide sustainable happiness), but if not here, where? I absolutely partook in some luxury shopping. Quality > quantity.

Ate excellent cuisine at underrated local spots. Few things beat fresh seafood and hot butter.

Watched a world class, sold-out, competitive tennis match between Djokovic and Nadal at the Roland Garros. The lounge seats and hospitality package were totally worth it xD. The champagne was (ok).

Enjoyed football, archery, basketball, & volleyball at the Olympics too. You already know I visited most of Paris' museums and historical sites. No, it's not overrated.

The universe convinced me to sacrifice sleep and enjoy a few Parisian breakfasts before exploring more of the city. Live a life that brings you joy, follow your interests, and create memories that last a lifetime.

Caught a few baseball matches in sunny San Diego, "America's Finest City". Left my mark at a few art auctions too. You have to start somewhere :)

Burna Boy & T-pain were amazing in concert. Also attended shows by BIA, Pitbull, Nicki Minaj, Tyga.

Continued my adventures as foodie. Few things bring joy like a fresh lemon meringue pie and fresh mexican food. Guac and extra cheese please!

Turn these down? Here's to keeping my body fit and healthy so I can continue enjoying life's pleasures!

Made time to travel and visit family for Thanksgiving. The "little" things matter as does consistency.

Pro tips: always book oceanview balcony views in the Bahamas; always bring extra Go-pro batteries

Explored the Jamaican countryside. Learned more about my family's roots, matched names with faces, and spoke with the ancestors. Obviously I savored the delicious cuisine and rum too xD

Hit the beach! Snorkeling & swimming. Enjoyed homemade cocktails, jerk chicken, plantains, and rice/peas with a scenic view. Crossed Falmouth and Montego Bay off my bucket list

Enhanced my French skills in Haiti. These beaches hit different: down to jet ski again or swim anytime!

What's a break without fresh air?

It is natural for us humans to become complacent with our lives, the people, and the opportunities at our disposal. This behavior is innate and completely understandable. Think about it, if you saw a [beach] everyday, you may not view it with the excitement of someone who grew up days away from the ocean. This is not due to a lack of appreciation, but rather because [it] was at your becking call, [it] was easily... accessible. Take a chance and try something new, you never know what awaits I think many of us can agree that humans are often habitual creatures. More often then not, our lives get busy and we find comfort in our routines. The increasingly fast-paced, urbanized, and technologically advanced nature of society does not help combat this tendency. Luckily, there are currently 61 National Parks across the United States that can provide the change of environment and therapeutic experiences many of us subconsiously seek. This post focuses on a trip to Sehnandoah What ...

Where Now?

First off I want give a sincere Thank You to everyone who made the trip to Canada great and who supported and showed up to my party. Took a bit to get there, but the trip was thoroughly enjoyed and seeing/ spending time with you all made my summer (and it isn't even over yet.) Where to next? well you will just have to stay tuned! You mean no 5 o'clock traffic? The blueberries weren't out yet, but at least these guys were around Just something about a country lifestyle that makes you happy It was all gone so fast  When you realize afterwards that you didn't photograph your food Looking a little thirsty I was... pretty stoked to see a few bees buzzing

1 year in the box

It has been quite a bit since my last post, however now that it is summer and I have more free time I will be sure to try and update on a normal basis once again. The long second semester has come to end... well, that is a bit of an overstatement because the time sure did fly by. Exams, hangouts, a first all- nighter  and lunch dates. Those four things pretty much sum up the semester, and although it has come to an end, life continues and the next chapter began in a great way. After moving out of the dorm and bidding farewell to the campus for the next few months we passed some time sitting down and enjoying  boba . We then took a tour of the library exhibits (Beethoven and Steinbeck) before heading to the hotel. We enjoyed some great gyros and then called it a night. Enough  for 2 One of the keys to a successful trip is a happy driver and food of course. Luckily both of those were present and by morning we were on the road for our next st...
