Spent some time in the United Kingdom Had a decent in-flight snack on the way to South Africa. Ask for a rating. Toured Windhoek and vistited Christ Church Made time to explore the city and visit a few museums Saw first-hand how high termite mounds can reach. Insane! Can confirm, the African Savannah is beautiful. Wild Giraffes were seen; simply majestic! Grass in the desert? Cool indeed. Now google "fairy circles"... mindblown A villa in the Namib Desert? Say less :) You already knew I was going to scale the mountain to get this shot. Always believe in yourself! Nature finds a way Still can't decide what draws my attention more, the bottle trees or the desert sunset? Spring Break in Vegas with the guys. You know I had to visit a museum Hike to a cave in Arizona? Absolutely! Once a foodie, always a foodie! Had to ride the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) roundtrip from Tokyo to Kyoto and Osaka. Visited Kyoto's famous Pagodas. I had to try it xD Spent leisure time exploring the Fushimi-Inari Taisha shrine Any guesses as to what may be in this time capsule? You knew there would be more food! Of course your  favorite  history buff toured Osaka Castle and its grounds. Can't say no to beautiful pencils and pens. Shopping in Osaka. There's a time and place for everything xD A photo from Japan to reassure my parents it's worthwhile to safeguard my cards. Comfort is comfort. Had to secure some Japanese furniture and bring it to the states for the future. Treat yourself by accumulating appreciating assets or pieces of history. 2020 remains unforgettable. Accepted into Arizona State University's Biology Ph.D program (concentration: Biology & Society).   Checked a few more scenic hikes off my bucket list. Witnessing how nature defines resiliency in deserts.. Enjoyed the rest of my Senior Year in California's Bay Area/Silicon Valley Graduated with my Bachelors in Biology from San Jose State; minors in Chemistry and Humanities. Lived in Japan for a year. Completed language classes. Enjoyed tons of ramen, gyoza, and yakatori. Confirmed I am not a fan of eating "natto". Can't knock it until you try it Survived being snowed in during Christmas (location: Japanese Alps).    Attended traditional tea ceremonies with dropping backgrounds.
